“How to develop a multi-format campaign” or “How to reach your target audience”. They are not the titles of the lessons in an advertising course, but rather the titles of the songs that are part of “Tunetorials”, the album created by Spotify to help marketing professionals bring their strategies to life on the platform.

This is the new Spotify Advertising campaign, which highlights its advertising solutions to marketing professionals, some of them are new and were presented at the Spotify Advance event held in April. And it does so by trusting, precisely, in music, since it is considered a simple and fun way to learn and discover how brands can reach audiences with the most appropriate messages.

“‘Tunetorials’ turns advertising training into hits you’ll want to listen to non-stop”

“Tunetorials”, which has been developed together with the FCB New York agency, consists of six original songs, three of them with their corresponding video clips; and they cover the full range of Spotify advertising tools with examples and tips to get the most out of them. “Tunetorials turns advertising training into hits you’ll want to listen to non-stop”; describes the company in a statement.

To create the album, Spotify collaborated with six emerging artists from diverse genres, from urban to electropop. These are the songs:

  • “How to run a multi-format campaign”, with Carter Ace
  • “How to reach your target audience”, with Parbleu
  • “How to boost ROI with your campaign settings”, with Big Sis
  • “How to measure campaign performance”, with Alex Lilly
  • “How to create ads for Spotify”, with The Shivers
  • “How to track the success of your ads” with House of EL

In addition to launching the digital album, Spotify has also created a vinyl version of the album, following the trends of the music market, in which this format has been revitalized in recent years as a collector’s item. As Spotify explains, each disc includes all the songs from “Tunetorials” as well as an extra booklet with more details and examples of each tutorial.

‘Tunetorials’ is our way of combining education with entertainment so it doesn’t feel like a chore“Bridget Evans, Spotify’s Global Head of Enterprise Marketing, said in a statement. ““It’s an amazing campaign that showcases the full power of our platform, while inspiring brands and agencies to see Spotify’s suite of advertising solutions from a completely new perspective.”.

According to Adweek, the songs will also be the protagonists of a digital campaign. The video clips will be adapted into audiovisual pieces of between 15 and 30 seconds that will run on Spotify, LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube.

“Tunetorials” is a new example of the creative B2B marketing developed by Spotify Advertising over the last few years. It has previously launched successful campaigns, such as “Song for Every CMO” or “Spreadbeats”. The latter, also designed by FCB New York, was awarded a Gold Lion in Design at Cannes Lions 2025 and a Grand Prix in Digital Craft at the same festival in 2024.
