Hair extensions are often perceived as artificial or inaccessible. An image that Belami considers limited and that seeks to transform with its first global campaign, articulated around the Claim “Beautiful Extensions of You” (beautiful extensions of you).
He has worked with the message with the creative agency Fred & Farid and presents the capillary complement to professional consumers and stylists as a tool to enhance natural beauty in a personal and authentic way.
He does it with an eloquent piece that highlights volume and fullness as benefits of extensions, beyond hair length.
The spot, with the production of Cadence Films, poses a new visual potential for the category when approaching a cinematographic style and an aspirational visual language, with visual and narrative codes more typical of haute couture. At the aesthetic level, the production sought to normalize the appearance and sensation of hair extensions. In this way, Belami raises extensions as something elegant and also as an integral part of self -expression and trust for all audiences on a day -to -day basis.
“The agency’s mission was not only to make hair extensions look beautiful, but to give the category of a visual identity that transmitted the same modernity and security as those who use them “Tom Koh, creative director of Bellami, has commented in a statement. “By establishing a distinctive and sophisticated aesthetic, we seek to create a new language that could evolve with the Bellami brand without forgetting our origins”
The objective of the campaign, as Mary Burns, president of Bellami, points out is to dismiss extensions. “As a number of number one hair extensions in the world, we believe it is Bellami’s responsibility to lead the industry to a new era”; He said.”The opportunity ahead is not only to expand the category, but redefine it, offering stylists more options for their clients and common people to be reflected in hair extensions”
As part of the campaign, Belami has announced an alliance with Highlight Artists, the Integral Talent Management Agency co -founded by stylists Jen Atkin and Justine Marjan. And he has appointed Jen Atkin as the first global ambassador of the Bellami brand with the intention of contributing cultural authority and a unique experience in the industry to the brand.
“Beautiful Extensions of You” will consist of three parts. The first is already in execution, marking the positioning of Belami in the category; while the following will be launched in the late 2025 and early 2026 working the massive reconsideration of extensions.
However, from the brand they consider “Beautiful Extensions of You” not as a campaign, but as a platform. “It can evolve with our business, since we develop multiple campaigns in different channels, audiences and product lines”; Explains Charlotte Watson, how of Belami.”Having this unified base means that each initiative, regardless of its objective, can contribute to the broader vision of Bellami to expand worldwide “.
The campaign will have activations in social networks, digital platforms, press and external advertising -with fences in Los Angeles -and collaboration with influencers. The campaign has also inspired the redesign of its spaces for events and its new flagship store in West Hollywood.
