Two girls from separate worlds seek togetherness in Deutsche Telekom Christmas ad

German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom has released a touching Christmas advert showing two magical worlds divided by an invisible barrier. An explicit reference to the polarization that we are currently experiencing as a society and that is expressed through the story of two girls from different worlds who, at first glance, seem united. But their families do not want them to become friends and, furthermore, they encounter a physical barrier that separates them. Until they realize that the only way to be together will be to break the glass.

Graduated “The Bubbles” is a creative work by the agency MUW Saatchi & Saatchi and has been directed by Alex Feil.

According to Ulrich Klenke, Brand Director at Deutsche Telekom: “We want to connect people. It is important and possible to break down barriers in our minds. Our company is committed to social cohesion and greater tolerance. We defend what connects people, societies and cultures.”
