Twelve agencies create APIDE, the Association of Digital Influence Professionals in Spain

Twelve influencer marketing and content creator representation agencies have come together to create APIDE, the Association of Digital Influence Professionals in Spain. Its objective will be to promote professionalization, as well as standardize processes and good practices, and promote an appropriate regulatory framework for the progress of the industry.

APIDE was born as a result of the impulse, in this first initial phase, of the agencies Bushido Talent, Grupo GO, Hamelin Agency, In Management, Keepers, Let’s Be Group, Lolita Manager, Nickname, Okiko/Creatives, SO Media Group, Tkers and Youplanet. All of them describe the creation of the entity as “a significant milestone towards the professionalization and regulation of the activity of content creators and digital talents in Spain”, as indicated in a statement.

The association will work to raise the good image of the professional group

Its intention is to unite the agents of the sector under this coordinated effort and work for the unification of criteria, for the defense of the rights related to the representation of influencers and creators, and to avoid professional intrusion. Ultimately they aspire to raise the good image of the group.

To do this, they claim to have defined an operating model based on the coordinated collaboration and respect for legislationn national and community. With this, they seek not only to ensure that their activity complies with the regulatory frameworks in force in other countries, but also to inspire the trust of their partners.

At the international level they will also focus on establishing alliances with different stakeholders, enhancing knowledge transferconsolidation of good practices and the development of joint projects. The association also highlights its commitment to excellence, sustainability and innovation.

With APIDE, we want to give representation agencies in the influencer marketing sector a space where they can get advice and collaborate, always based on transparency and professionalization.“said Sergio Barreda, CEO & Founder of Keepers and President of APIDE. “It is a step forward that benefits all of us who are part of a sector that is growing more and more.”.

From APIDE they point out that being part of the association will contribute to strengthening the work network at the service of talents and will facilitate dialogue with the large media and advertising agencies with which they work and expect to work.
Agencies that choose to become members will have access to training programs, workshops or talks with experts; all of this with a view to improving the training of professionals and keeping the sector at the forefront.

With regards to the organization structure. It will have a General Assembly, the highest decision-making body; and with a Board of Directors, which will be in charge of daily operational management. The professionals who are part of these bodies and hold positions will do so altruistically, and will not be remunerated.
