The Premis Impactconvened annually by the Col·legi del Màrqueting de Catalunyathey have taken a step forward in the positioning of the advertising industry against Greenwashing. The organization has modified the basis of the contest to, for the first time, consider the environmental and social impact of creativity.
As announced in a statement, this year not only will be taken into account positive social and/or environmental values of the candidacies in a transverse way in all categories, but also will penalize Greenwashing and Social Washing.
In this way, in addition to evaluating notoriety, creativity, loyalty, purchase intention, consumption experience and conversational impact of each case, it will also be met:
- The positive social and/or environmental valuesthat is, the contribution to reflection or a change of perspective, perception or behavior that is positive for society as a whole.
- The socially and/or environmentally legitimate statementsThat is, the penalty of works that, despite having a positive impact on business criteria, are communicatively incoherent with the real impact of business activity on people or the planet and/or can be identified as Greenwashing or Social Washing.

Each year the premises impact value marketing, advertising, communication and public relations that have most impacted the sector
and in society during the last year. On this occasion, all those works published between January 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 will be able to opt for the awards.
The registration period in all categories is already open and will end next Monday, May 26. The premises impact 2025 will be delivered to the nit of communication and màrqueting, That will take place on July 3 in Acex, the old IMAX in the Port Vell in Barcelona, the same space that has hosted the latest edition of the Copa América de Vela.

Three trophies levels are delivered for each of the categories: gold, silver and bronze.
The works that are presented to the awards must do so including in their registration a description of the project, technical file, context, objectives, demonstration of the impact achieved and link to the pieces.

The jury of the impact awards 2025
The jury of the impact awards is composed of 40 professionals of marketing, advertising and communication. It will be chaired by Jesús Revuelta, who has highlighted the quality of the composition and its reflection of the diversity of profiles and visions of the Catalan creative industry.
