Almost two months before the official arrival of the summer season, El Corte Inglés has already presented its summer advertisement, a spot with which the department store chain presents its new collection of swimsuits, footwear and accessories. Again under the title “Summertime”, the company invites you to enjoy summer in all its splendor.

The ad stars, once again, the international model Irina Shayk, who already wore the brand’s proposal last year. On this occasion, the fashion film changes the Mallorcan landscape for the Canary Islands, but maintains a lively and evocative aesthetic, full of sea, sun and summer lifestyle.

The piece has been filmed on the island of La Palma, and more specifically, in the town of Poris de Candelaria. With majestic plans and careful photography, El Corte Inglés’ summer advertisement takes advantage of the beauty of one of the most unique corners of Spanish geography. Thus, the characteristic white houses of the small fishing village, its cave, viewpoint and sea inlets surround the model, exalting the garments.

This edition of “Summertime” expands the formula that the company has implemented in recent years in communication, characterized by a commitment to music, artistic staging, impact locations and the prominence of supermodels. This is not the first time that El Corte Inglés has set its spot in the Canary Islands, since last year’s spring advertisement had the landscapes of Lanzarote as a backdrop.

In the advertisement, Irina Shayk wears various pieces from the new collection that, as the brand expresses in a statement, once again opt for quality and the most flattering designs, as well as natural tones, such as greens, browns or yellows. It consists of swimsuits, bags, sandals, hats or bracelets.
