The BMW group makes a donation of 500,000 euros to the Reina Sofía Foundation

BMW Group Spain has announced, through a statement, its decision to donate 500,000 euros to the Reina Sofía Foundation with the aim of helping the victims of Dana. “The impact of this catastrophe that has affected a large part of the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Murcia, Andalusia, the Balearic Islands and Castilla La Mancha”, says the text of the statement, “It has left devastated towns and, unfortunately, hundreds of deaths in its wake.”

The donation to the Reina Sofía Foundation represents a reinforcement of the automobile group’s collaboration with this organization, as it adds to the existing agreement with the BMW Painting Prize through the foundation, by which The company will allocate an additional 25,000 euros to the Food Bank to alleviate the most urgent and necessary needs. The Reina Sofía Foundation aims to help, develop and promote the needs of all types of people in the areas of social action, education, health and culture.

On the other hand, BMW Group Spain, through its brands BMW, Mini and BMW Motorrad, its leasing company, Alphabet and its financial company, BMW Bank, ““is working as hard as possible to provide relief measures and flexible solutions to its affected customers and dealers to enable them to cope with the effects of this catastrophe.”
