Sanitas' Christmas ad encourages us not to leave hugs pending

9 out of 10 people give a lot or quite a lot of importance to the hugs in their personal relationships and 95% consider that these have a positive effect on their emotional well-being. This is data collected in the “Sanitas Study on the physical and emotional well-being of physical contact with loved ones” prepared by the company itself and which has been used as insight for its Christmas campaign this year.

While for 73% of those surveyed, hugs provide affection, for 64% they generate love, for 56% they generate comfort, and for 53% they are a source of tranquility.

Asked about who they hug the most, the partner is one of the main answers (61%), the children (44%) and the parents (28%). These share a percentage with those who usually hug their pets, which, in fact, is higher than those who hug their friends (23%).

The campaign can be seen from December 9 to December 31, 2024 on different media such as conventional television, digital channels, outdoor media, Amazon Prime Video and other digital TV channels such as DAZN or Movistar+, among others.
