Nieves Rey Hernández has been named the new general director of Dircom, after the unanimous approval of her incorporation by the association’s Board of Directors. His appointment occurs at the beginning of the new mandate chaired by Joaquín Mouriz.
With a consolidated career in the field of corporate communication, Rey began her career at Burson and has developed a large part of her professional career at Ecoembes, where for the last 20 years she has served as Director of Communication and Marketing. From his position on the Steering Committee, he has led the global communication, marketing, brand, crisis management and environmental education strategy, promoting initiatives linked to sustainability and citizen mobilization.
Graduated in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, she has a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication and Advertising and has completed her training with senior management programs at schools such as The Valley Business School and San Telmo Business School. His profile combines strategic focus, analytical capacity and experience in team leadership.

Rey assumes the general management of Dircom in a context of transformation of the sector, with the aim of reinforcing the positioning of the association as a reference in communication, corporate affairs and reputation in Spain, as well as generating value for its partners. To do this, you will work together with the management team in Madrid and the territorial management of the eight delegations of the organization.

The new General Director will report to the Board of Directors chaired by Joaquín Mouriz, director of Brand, Communication and Customer Experience at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, and will have a management team that includes, among others, Sebastián Cebrián, Doris Casares (Mango) and Fernando Geijo (Prosegur) as Vice Presidents.
