Naturgy has assured in a statement that it will allow postpone your electricity, gas and utility bills for households, SMEs and the self-employed of the areas affected by the torrential rains of recent days. The postponement may be requested through any Customer Service channel in the affected areas.
Additionally, the company has activated a prioritization and advance payments to affected suppliers in the Valencian Community and Castilla-La Mancha.
The group wants to contribute in this way to “mitigate, to the extent possible, the economic impact of the current emergency situation.”
On the other hand, the Naturgy Foundation has made a donation for those affected by Dana, which will be channeled through the Red Cross and Cáritas. In addition, the group will provide its employees with ways so that those who wish can make individual donations.
Regarding the energy supplythe Naturgy group – through its subsidiary Nedgia – has gas distribution networks in the Valencian Community. The gas distribution network is less vulnerable than other infrastructures to this type of atmospheric phenomena and, as indicated, “It has not been compromised. “The supply interruptions are occurring at the request of the emergency services, with controlled cuts to be able to access the affected places safely.” However, Nedgia has reinforced its teams on the ground, in coordination with emergency services, to recover the interrupted supply as soon as possible, always under the premise of the safety of customers and employees.
