Multioptics has incorporated Teresa Sánchez-Galán as a new director of marketing and communication, an appointment with which she reinforces her commitment to strategic growth and brand consolidation in a context of internal transformation and international projection. Sánchez-Galán, who replaces Álvaro Fiestas-Marketing Director during the last two years-will be part of the Management Committee and will report directly to Carlos Crespo, general director of the company.
Bachelor of International Business from the Pontifical University Comillas (ICADE) and Northeastern University (USA), the new director accumulates more than a decade of experience in leadership positions in the marketing area, both in multinational environments and in highly competitive sectors.
He has worked for brands like Estée Lauder, Tom Ford Beauty or Mac Cosmetics
His career has developed mainly in The Estée Lauder Companies, where he assumed responsibilities in different brands of the group. First as Responsible for Product and Trade Marketing for Estée Lauder and Tom Ford Beauty, and later as Mac Cosmetics Marketing Director for Spain and Portugal. In addition, he has occupied commercial positions in large consumption companies such as Johnson Wax and Kellogg’s, acquiring a transverse vision of the business and a deep knowledge of the consumer.
With this appointment, multioptics reinforces its commitment to operational excellence, creative innovation and emotional connection with their audiences. “I am excited to join a company like multipticas, with a clear vision, a powerful brand and a great capacity for innovation and to incorporate creativity in everything they do. At a time when brands must be relevant and emotionally connect with people, the challenge is enormous and exciting”Teresa Sánchez-Galán has declared.
For his part, Carlos Crespo, general director of Multioptics, stressed: “We are delighted to welcome Teresa. His experience, his strategic approach and his knowledge of the consumer will be key to continue reinforcing the positioning of our brand and accelerating our growth.”
This movement occurs at a key moment for the company, which faces new challenges in its national development and prepares its next steps in the international arena. In 2024, multioptics consolidated its leadership in the Spanish optical market with an 8% growth in sales, mainly driven by the 25% increase in the category of progressive lenses and a 28% increase in audiology, thanks to the opening of specialized centers and the introduction of new technologies in hearing aids.
Last year the company went from Cooperativa to Sociedad Limitada under the business name Mó Global Eyewear
Last year also marked an institutional turning point for the company, with its transformation of cooperative to limited society under the company Mó Global Eyewear. With a network that exceeds 550 points of sale and more than 2,000 professionals, the firm has initiated its international expansion with the first openings in Mexico, a key market in its global strategy. “We lead our sector in the country and that drives us and allows ussaid Domingo Suárez, president of Mó Global Eyewear, at the time.
In this context of corporate transformation, sustained growth and international openness, the incorporation of Teresa Sánchez-Galán at the head of the marketing and communication area is inscribed in a decisive stage to strengthen brand identity, connect with new audiences and activate the following multi-optic development cycle.
