McCann will be in charge of Mapfre's new global brand campaign and remains its creative partner in Spain

The relationship between Mapfre and McCann is consolidated and expanded. The agency has been the winner of the competition called by the insurer for the development of a global brand campaign and has also renewed as the company’s creative partner in Spain, extending a relationship of almost three decades.
It is one of the longest agency-client relationships in our country.

In this sense, McCann will be in charge of leading the creativity of what, according to a statement, will be the company’s largest global campaign. The agency assures that this new collaboration represents an achievement and a milestone in its trajectory with Mapfre, and poses a challenging situation in terms of once again surprising and exciting the client.

“We seek to project a new way of communicating, inspiring and connecting with our clients”

For their part, the insurer points out that, with this new global brand campaign, they seek to mark a milestone in their communication strategy. “With this campaign. We not only seek to project a new way of communicating, inspiring and connecting with our clients around the world, but also to consolidate Mapfre’s position as a leading and reference brand in the insurance sector.”explained Eva Piera, general director of External Relations and Communication at MAPFRE.

Along these lines, the agency describes its proposal as “strategically compelling and creatively excellent“and a response to the brand’s global ambitions. In addition, they assure that it will reinforce the strength of a relationship that continues to evolve.

Along with the competition for the development of the global campaign, Mapfre has also once again chosen McCann as a creative partner in Spain. It is expected that the relationship will be extended for another three years, which is the period for which the insurer, as a matter of company policy, puts the account out for competition, as its managers told us a few months ago in a conversation about their brand-building work.

The agency is grateful for the trust. “It is not easy to renew a strategic relationship of almost three decades, and doing so with a global project makes it an even more special moment.” commented Lucía Angulo, CEO of McCann Worldgroup and McCann Spain. We are experts in building brands that last over time, always starting from the truth. And if there is an unbeatable example in Spain of that mission, it is Mapfre”.
