Christmas can be a time to fulfill wishes, but not only your own, but also those of others. It is a message of generosity and dedication that Lidl has collected in his christmas advertisementof international scope, devised by the BBDO agency Germany and launched in Spain on November 4.

The spot, directed by the filmmaker Tom Hoopershows a girl and her family enjoying the festivities and making wishes thanks to some “magical” bells that an old woman has given to the protagonist. But, in the frenzy, the girl remembers another child, with fewer possibilities than her, and decides to send him all her wishes, thus evidencing the invitation that Lidl makes this Christmas to share good things.

Lidl’s global Christmas advert has been adapted to different markets, and will have different activations in all of them. In the United Kingdom, for example, the company recovers the Toy Bank program with the aim of donating more than 100,000 toys for boys and girls of the country.

Also in the British market, Lidl will tour the country for the first time with its Freeway Christmas truck, your own brand. The vehicle, very similar to Coca-Cola’s, will be on the road between November 14 and December 1, and will give gifts to the first 250 visitors to each stop.
