“Let them talk”: Dove expands its claim to real beauty with “The Bridgertons”

The series “The Bridgertons” is the favorite of many viewers for the entertainment provided by its romantic plots, but also for its characters who challenge conventions and celebrate their individuality. That is why Dove has partnered with it to present a new claim for authentic beauty in line with the brand’s long-standing positioning in this territory.

Dove has joined forces with the streaming platform Netflix and the production company Shondaland in the “Let them talk” campaign, designed by the creative agency Mythology. Capitalizing on the creative and narrative universe of the popular series, the Unilever brand expands its mission to promote self-expression and self-care as an act of confidence, and celebrates women who break barriers and live without worrying about what others say.

As Dove explains in a statement, the campaign stars content creators who stand out for presenting themselves with confidence and without complexes both online and in real life. It is complemented by a marketing strategy of influencers who bring the brand message to life with their own voices and in different cultures.

“Let them talk” is launched within the framework of the premiere of the fourth season of “The Bridgertons”, which will take place in two phases: the first batch of episodes will arrive in the platform’s catalog on January 29, and the second, on February 26.
In addition, it is accompanied by a limited edition collection of shower gels, body scrubs, hand soaps or deodorants with aromas inspired by the universe of the series and available in Target stores.

We are thrilled to partner with “The Bridgertons,” who share a similar commitment to authentic beauty, celebrating women who define themselves.“said Marcela Melero, Director of Growth for Dove Personal Care North America and Dove Masterbrand. “‘Let Them Talk’ is a call to action for all generations to show themselves as they are and take space”.

Partnering with Dove gives us the opportunity to extend the world of ‘The Bridgertons’ into impactful moments and products for our subscribers.“said Magno Herran, Vice President of Global Brand Partnerships at Netflix. “At its core, the series has always championed the idea of challenging social expectations and celebrating individuality in all its forms.
