Leroy Merlin has joined efforts in the recovery of the areas affected by the impact of the storm in the Valencian Community. To provide its help, it is collaborating with the authorities, emergency bodies and associations such as Red Cross or Action Against Hunger.
As the company has made known through some of its social networks, it is channeling donations and efforts through the aforementioned entities with the intention of coordinate assistance and that the resources arrive as quickly and efficiently as possible.
In this sense, it has delivered to the emergency forces some of the most necessary products at this time to accelerate the recovery of the towns, such as shovels, wellies, rakes, bilge pumps or generators; all this trying to guarantee stock in the area.
As Action Against Hunger shared on Tuesday, November 5, the organization would have delivered a total of 17 water bilge pumps to the Fire Department to extract water from houses and garages, which have been donated by the company.
On the other hand, Leroy Merlin has activated a ADEO group Solidarity Fund, to which it belongs, to support and assist employees who have been affected by Dana. He claims to have launched a psychological support service for those teams that may need it.
