Against the spectacular landscapes of Lanzarote and the electronic music of last year, El Corte Inglés’ spring advertisement for 2026 relies on minimalism and Spanish roots to communicate the launch of the department store chain’s new clothing collection for this season.
On this occasion, the spot stars Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima and flamenco guitarist Yerai Cortés. On minimalist backgrounds created with monochromatic colors, audiovisual projections and simple decorated scenarios, both show off the garments proposed by the company for the season that is now beginning.
The images are interspersed with close-ups of blooming flowers, signaling the arrival of spring, and emphasizing the traditional link between El Corte Inglés and this time of year. All of this happens to the rhythm of the song “Lirili”, which has been published by the artist on his channels in the last few hours, and which could have been created or released for the occasion.
A few hours before the launch of the ad, El Corte Inglés published a teaser piece that previewed the aesthetic proposal for this year’s spring ad. To the rhythm of a Spanish guitar, the video only showed a chair on a floor of water and a colorful background that evokes the lights of dawn.
The advertising campaign contrasts with the latest ones launched for the different collections and seasons, which have been characterized, for the most part, by the presence of several supermodels, international music and outdoor settings. On the other hand, this spring advertisement from El Corte Inglés puts more focus on the local, remembering the company’s Spanish origins.
As is usual, the announcement is accompanied by a photographic series that delves into the El Corte Inglés spring collection. It is mainly characterized by flowery prints and colors of the warm spectrum, such as oranges, golds and browns, as well as light and flexible shapes.
