Epstein affair: who is Daniel Siad found dead in Haut de Seine?

Daniel Siad was found dead at the age of 69 in his home in Colombes (92). The Swedish model recruiter was suspected of having been the tout of sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein.

According to BFMTV, the 69-year-old man died of cardiac arrest. Despite the rapid arrival of firefighters and cardiac massage started by a neighbor, the man could not be resuscitated. An investigation was opened to discover the circumstances of the death.

A controversial association

Following the signing of the law Epstein Files Transparency Act in the United States at the end of 2025, the American Department of Justice had published several million declassified documents and emails. Among these documents and emails revealed, Daniel Siad appeared precisely 2,090 times.

In May 2026, at the microphone of BFMTV, he admitted to knowing and putting young women in contact with American child criminals by presenting himself, according to him, as casting director for Victoria Secret.

Presumably, between 2000 and 2017, he would have carried out missions for Epstein, carrying out numerous locations in Poland, Czech Republic, South Africa, Morocco, Cuba and also in France. Furthermore, Daniel Siad had admitted that he had gone numerous times to Espstein’s Parisian address, Avenue Foch, for interviews, which lasted “between 10 and 15 minutes, he was a man in a hurry”.

“Each time I presented models to him, and I left with the models. I only had professional relations with him. I don’t know his private life.”he declared a few months earlier on BFMTV.

5 charges against him

In addition, he was accused of rape and sexual violence by 5 women, who filed a complaint. One of them – Ebba Karlsson – said last February that she had been raped in Cannes in 1990.

“He told me I could have a career as a top model. When we arrived the house was closed, he wanted to get closer… He went on and on, and he raped me in this pool house. He threatened to kill me, I was terrified”testified the Swede.

Accused of rape and sexual violence by five women, Daniel Siad has always denied these accusations. Indeed, at the microphone of BFMTV, for 1h30, he proclaimed his innocence. He declared: “I have never raped anyone in my life”. During this same interview, he claimed to be at the disposal of justice

Daniel Siad has never been heard by the courts.
