Cupra celebrates 125 years of FC Barcelona by trusting in its new generation of footballers

And it continues to be so, as demonstrated by the campaign launched within the framework of the 125th anniversary of the clubwith which the brand once again celebrates its global sponsorship of the team and the power of the new generations.

“The Barça Job Interview” It has been designed by the creative agency &Rosàs and is articulated around the concept “The new generation is always the answer” (The new generation is always the answer. The piece thus alludes to “The impulse of a new generation”, a campaign starring Alexia Putellas that the brand activated in 2022 to present its electric proposal.

On this occasion the automobile company trusts in the new generation of footballers: Gavi, Ansu Fati, Alejandro Balde, Pedri, Fermín López, Ona Batlle, Jana, Vicky López and Claudia Pina. All of them are subjected to a fictitious job interview to check if they are prepared to be club owners and, despite their negative answers to most of the questions, the piece conveys the message that determination and desire They prevail over experience.

The new generation is what is going to define the future of society and brands like Cupra and Barça have the responsibility of transmitting this so that in the world of work, there is also a reaction and young people begin to have greater responsibility to be able to change the social landscape”, commented Patrick Sievers, Global Marketing Director of Cupra, in a statement.

For their part, &Rosàs points out that the campaign celebrates the values ​​shared between the brand and the team. “Despite having such a different journey, they have a common vision about motivation, inspiration and confidence in young people.”; Xavi Mauri, Creative Director at the agency, explained. “Cupra is a brand with only 5 years of life, a time comparable to the experience that the young people of FC Barcelona have who are coming so far.”.

The piece has been produced by Live Rollingand was directed by StillKidz. Postproduction has been carried out by Only Postproduction and Vivir Rodando, while the musical composition has been worked on by Indústries Sòniques.
It consists of a 120-second version and others of shorter duration with specific montages for the different digital channels of Cupra and Barça.
