Unlike other payment methods, which request personal information, Bizum only requires the phone number to exchange money, making it an agile and secure solution. These characteristics are what articulate the brand’s new advertising campaign, developed by El Ruso de Rocky, Bizum’s new creative agency.
Under the title “Don’t share more than necessary”, Bizum communicates its functionalities for paying in online stores. The brand uses humor and recreates situations in which someone shares too many details about their life, thereby creating a socially awkward situation.
The campaign is made up of three spots, worked together with the production company Central Films and directed by Rodrigo García Sáinz. All of them raise a reflection on how we constantly share personal information in digital environments, often without questioning it. Bizum thus proposes a discourse focused on privacy and highlights its role as a facilitator of simple and secure payments.
The campaign inaugurates, as explained by El Ruso de Rocky, a new tone of voice for the brand, closer, more direct and focused on humor with a local character.
The launch of the campaign occurs in the context of the upcoming celebration of the Black Friday commercial event, one of the moments with the highest volume of online sales of the year, which reinforces the opportunity of the message.
The campaign launched on November 16 and runs on television, digital media, social media and outdoor. It has deployed a tarp in the center of Madrid that focuses on the concept of sharing more account information when making payments.
Media planning and management is carried out by the agency Sound Media Mad.
