Bene Bonoa company dedicated to the fight against food waste, has sent fruits and vegetables to the localities affected by the damage in Valencia. Specifically, it has sent 400 kilos of fresh products, which is equivalent to 60 boxes full of fruits and vegetables.
Boxes include potatoes, bananas, carrots, apples, pears and persimmons. The boxes have been prepared by the company’s employees, as Bene Bono has shared through its Instagram profile. “We know that this does not solve everything, but we are more than willing to organize, get to work and contribute everything we can“, they comment in the video published in Stories.
The boxes have been transported to Valencia thanks to the transport company e-transportand they will reach three delivery points that Bene Bono has in the city: in the areas of Mislata, Silla and Quart. These points will be responsible for distributing the product among the most affected locations, analyzing the requirements and needs at all times.
As Bene Bono shared on Friday, November 8, the collection points where the company was initially going to take the boxes were saturated, and they finally unloaded at the Tama Auditori in Aldaia. They report that the damaged localities have received large quantities of preserves and non-perishable products, but not fruits and vegetables, which will provide a contribution of value for the affected people.
As they point out to reason.Whyat Bene Bono they are aware that they are a small company, but they wanted to contribute their grain of sand. In addition to product shipping, you have also enabled a donation line for World Central Kitchenso that their community can contribute to the work carried out by the entity. As a company in the food sector, they wanted to give it visibility and contribute to the initiative.
