BBVA has announced the creation of a package of measures for those affected by Dana, with two special lines of 0% financing for families and companies, “so that they can return to normality as soon as possible“, according to the financial entity in a statement in which it also orders “a message of condolence to the families of those who died due to the strong floods of recent days, which have had devastating consequences in the Valencian Community, Castilla La-Mancha, Andalusia and the Region of Murcia”.
Those affected by the floods, whether private clients or companies, can request the lines of 0% financing since last Thursday, October 31, and without opening or cancellation fees. The request can be made at any bank office.
On the other hand, BBVA has launched a donation campaign through Bizum, with the collaboration of the Spanish Red Cross, among its clients, employees and society in general, to raise funds for those affected by the floods. To date this campaign has raised more than three million of euros.
In addition, and as part of its aid measures for those affected by the floods, the bank will not charge a commission for withdrawing cash at ATMs in the province of Valencia.
On the other hand, the insurer BBVA Allianz has made a specific telephone number (911 749 620) available to those affected to assist BBVA insurance holders.
Likewise, on Monday, November 4, he announced the donation of 4 million euros to support those affected by Dana in Spain through the Red Cross. The objective, as stated, is to help cover the urgent and recovery needs of the thousands of injured people.
It has communicated the initiative with the photograph of its headquarters building in Madrid, La Vela, illuminated with black crepe in memory of the victims, an action carried out on November 1.
