Babariathe Valencian hygiene and beauty products company, is collaborating in the efforts to help those affected by Dana in the province by distributing hydroalcoholic gel for hands, a product necessary due to the deterioration of health conditions in the affected areas due to accumulated sludge, which can be focus of infections. Babaria has proposed to distribute 100,000 containers of the product.
Silvia MuñozMarketing Director of the company, points out that its factory is in Cheste, a town very close to the most affected area, but that the company has been able to resume its activity. And, as part of it, it has decided to distribute hydroalcoholic gel among the population of the flooded areas and for the volunteers who are helping with their recovery and cleaning.
“We have done it in the most direct way possible, with our own truck,” Muñoz points out, “and we have already covered the areas of Massanassa and Catarroja. Now we are trying to access the rest of the populations.” The Marketing Director points out that the company is in contact with Food Bank and Red Cross for the distribution of hydroalcoholic gel and that, through some conduits and others, Babaria plans to distribute a total of 100,000 containers of gel, although to do so it will have to solve access to certain populations, which is still difficult.
