The Association of Communication Directors (DIRCOM) has held the eighth edition of the Dircom Ramón del Corral Awardsin which the 21 winning projects that stand out for their excellence in corporate communication in Spain have been announced.
In this edition, business initiatives such as Caixabank, Cupra, Ilunion, Leroy Merlin, Mapfre or Quirón Salud have been recognized, selected among the more than 260 candidacies presented.
The prize in the category Lobby and public issues It has fallen to Cabify for its project “Mistetas that protest”, and in the category Communication and Senior Management The winner has been Enagás, for “Arturo Gonzalo, a CEO committed to transparency.” In the special categories, the awards have been for Ecoembes and mother creative content, for “the summer packaging” (best global communication strategy in large companies), and for the Ceramic and Llyc dove, for “much more than a brick” (best global communication strategy in SMEs).
“Talking clear is not simplifying, but respecting the interlocutor”
In addition, in this edition, the Board of Directors of DIRCOM has granted its Special Prize to the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE)in recognition of its centenary work as a guarantor of the good use of the language and, especially, for its current commitment to the impulse of a clear, understandable and accessible language in complex areas such as the legal, the administrative and the corporate.
Miguel López-Quesada, president of DIRCOM, said in this regard that “RAE reminds us that talking clearly is not simplifying, but respecting the interlocutor. His work not only preserves the language, but also actively contributes to strengthening democracy, promoting inclusion and facilitating understanding in environments where language can be a barrier.”

Since its creation in 2018, the Dircom Ramón del Corral awards have recognized more than 160 communication projects in different categories. Throughout their eight editions, they have received more than 1,400 candidates, reflecting the growing commitment of the sector with communicative excellence. Over time, they have established themselves as the main national reference to highlight the best practices in corporate, institutional and internal communication, underlining the strategic role that this discipline plays in the reputation and leadership of organizations in Spain.
