This warns the new campaign of Child Focus, with which the Belgian organization focuses on the dangers of Deepnudes.
The non -profit entity, which works on the disappearance and sexual exploitation of minors, seeks to raise awareness about this type of creations. These are sexual images or videos created with the help of artificial intelligence and that pose the falsification of partial or total identity without knowledge of the person.
According to Child Focus, almost 13% of Belgian young people know Deepnudes applications and 60% of them have tried to create one themselves.
To raise awareness of the psychological and emotional impact of this type of creations, the organization has launched “The unwearable wardrobe”, Designed by the Creative Agency VML, and with the Mensen producer and the financial support of the European Commission. The campaign starts from the idea that the garments that appear in these videos, and of which they detach digitally, become unusable and unbearable to carry for victims as a result of a negative emotional association.

To publicize the initiative, Child Focus has had the participation of the journalist and presenter Danira Boukhriss, who has been the victim of Deepnudes and talked about it for the first time through his Instagram account. As explained in the piece, he has offered the dress with which he appeared in the video to the initiative. The campaign also has the support of other celebrities who have suffered the distribution of falsified images without their consent.
From Child Focus they point out that the psychological consequences and the impact for the victims of the Deepnud are comparable to other forms of Digital sexual violence. They point out that being a victim of online sexual violence can cause post -traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, loss of self -confidence and dark thoughts.
The organization also shares that more and more frequently faces cases with this type of use of artificial intelligence.
