The Paris Saint-Germain football team has already made inroads into areas such as art, fashion and music, and now continues its ambition to become a global, cultural and lifestyle brand by entering gastronomy. The French club has launched a cafeteria in the center of Paris with the intention of expanding the experience it offers to fans on a daily basis.
The space was inaugurated on March 24, under the name PSG Café. It is located on the Champs-Elysées, one of the most emblematic avenues in the world, and invites fans, tourists and those interested in a gourmet and healthy lifestyle, to enjoy a proposal that includes specialty coffees, drinks and signature pastries, but also to discover the club in a different way.
As Paris Saint-Germain describes in a statement, the cafeteria has been conceived as an expression of the team’s identity, but also as a place that embodies a contemporary vision of the Parisian art of living, combining French tradition and gastronomic modernity. Thus, it has a careful aesthetic and a cozy atmosphere, also on its covered outdoor terrace.
The club assures that the PSG Café offers a varied menu designed to be integrated into different moments of consumption, from morning coffee to afternoon snack, including lunch. The menu integrates fresh and seasonal fruit juices, specialty coffees and typical French pastries, but also contemporary creations inspired by international gastronomy trends, such as gourmet pastries, balanced bowls and signature products.
In the statement, Paris Saint-Germain describes the proposal as “a healthy approach, designed with recognized experts, where gastronomic pleasure and nutritional demands coexist to offer a modern and innovative vision of food, in line with the club’s DNA”.
For the inauguration of the cafeteria, the club has brought together dozens of guests, including athletes, influencers and content creators, chefs, baristas and recognized figures of the new Parisian culinary scene, as well as managers of other brands.
The opening of the PSG Café is part of the club’s desire to offer enriching experiences for its fans. In the month of January, the “Ici C’est Paris La Maison” initiative was launched in London, an ephemeral space in the British capital in which it provided different experiences and activations in sports, entertainment, fashion and gastronomy.
With the inauguration of the PSG Café, the club claims to advance in the construction of a global lifestyle brand, expanding into new territories of expression. “Paris Saint-Germain thus builds a global, cultural and experiential brand universe, in resonance with contemporary lifestyles and rooted in the daily life of its communities.“; they explain in the statement. “The PSG Café clearly fits into this dynamic, creating an accessible, immersive and emotional experience, capable of seducing both fans and lovers of inspiring spaces, both Parisians and international visitors.”.
