The food industry is undergoing a global transformation that focuses not only on offering healthier alternatives, but also on options for consumers interested in well-being and sports. And protein products have become a big trend, with brands like Starbucks and Chipotle introducing new items to their menus. Dunkin’ now joins them with a selection of drinks for its winter offering.

The brand has kicked off 2026 with the introduction of Protein Milk, which offers customers the possibility of enjoying their favorite drinks with protein milk, taking advantage of a time when many consumers choose exercise as a prominent purpose. In this way, Dunkin’ updates its menu for this season including high protein drinks, as well as other snacks and products for the coming months, and offers and discounts.

Dunkin’ kicks off the year by launching five new protein milk drinks

As the company explains in a statement, Dunkin’ protein milk offers a creamy flavor, without aftertaste, to coffees, lattes, matchas and smoothies. As detailed, the option for this ingredient includes 15 grams of milk with protein in each medium-sized drink. The brand has started the proposal with five new drinks: mango protein drink; strawberry; chocolate and caramel protein latte; iced matcha latte with almonds; and sugar-free vanilla iced latte.

We saw protein milk as a natural way to offer our customers more flexibility to enjoy the Dunkin’ menu throughout the day.“Jill Nelson, Director of Marketing at Dunkin’, commented in a statement. “Protein Milk tastes delicious in coffees, lattes and soft drinks without changing the flavors customers already love”.

To communicate the new releases, Dunkin’ has teamed up with singer Megan Thee Stallion, who plays “Pro-Tina,” an energetic sports instructor. “Dunk N’ Pump”, developed by Artists Equity, the creative studio founded by actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, highlights new protein drinks with a training session inspired by Jazzercise, the popular television exercise routines of the 90s. All this happens to the rhythm of an original and exclusive song created by Megan Thee Stallion herself.
The singer has also collaborated with the brand in the creation of the mango-flavored drink.

Beyond the spot, the campaign has developed a series of activations and special actions to communicate the arrival of the new products on the Dunkin’ menu. These include the creation of a retro sportswear collection inspired by the advert, available through the brand’s website; and the launch of branded weights together with the Bala sports brand.

Additionally, Dunkin’ has partnered with Solidcore fitness center to offer free training sessions between January 14 and 16. People invited to these events will be able to get a Dunkin’ gift card to try the new line of Protein Milk.
