Football has once again stood out in the audience television during November, a month in which consumption time has been driven by various factors, including weather or interest in news coverage of the impact of dana in our country. And although sport has given the most watched broadcast to La1, Antena 3 is the one that has continued to lead the audience.
This is reflected in the monthly report on television consumption, prepared by Windward with data from Kantar. The data indicate that the daily consumption time per viewer (on those who watch television every day) in the month of September was 294 minutes, that is, 8 minutes more than in October, and 8 minutes less than in November of last year.
Who watches television in Spain?
Furthermore, each person (out of the population universe of 46.6 million) spent an average of 2 hours and 56 minutes (176 minutes) per day on watch traditional television, which is 7 minutes more compared to the previous month, but 12 minutes less compared to the same period in 2023.

Thus, the average time spent per person per day was 53 minutes, that is, 3 minutes more than in October and 4 minutes more than in November of last year. Thus, the total TV usage time (traditional television + other uses) has been 229 minutes per person per day; and 343 minutes per viewer per day. These figures reflect an increase of 10 minutes in both cases compared to the previous month.
According to Barlovento, 23% of total television use is for “other audiovisual consumption” other than conventional television. Furthermore, the exclusive audience for these “other uses”that is, the number of people who use the television daily for an activity other than watching traditional linear television, is 3,150,000 viewers.
The most watched on television in Spain in November
Beyond the fight between David Broncano and Pablo Motos, which was once again the subject of conversation during November, sport has once again captured the audience.
