1 – Donald Trump

The year 2024 marks the return of Donald Trump. The American businessman was re-elected as President of the United States on November 6. For Trump, this re-election means a second (non-consecutive) term. Facing Kamala Harris, Donald Trump becomes the 47th president of the United States and succeeds Joe Biden. In 2024, the campaign was fierce between Democrats and Republicans offering historic images. Joe Biden called Donald Trump voters ‘trash,’ so the president-elect arrived wearing an orange vest on board a garbage truck at one of his meetings.

Nevertheless, the historical image of this year 2024 and the one in which Donald Trump is the victim of an assassination attempt. On July 13, the Republican candidate was at a meeting in Butler, Pennsylvania. Shots ring out and the secret services tackle Donald Trump to the ground. 2 – Emmanuel Macron

The least we can say is that the year 2024 was not a beneficial year for Emmanuel Macron. On June 9, the President of the Republic decided to dissolve the National Assembly after losing the European elections: “I have decided to give you back the choice of our parliamentary future through voting. For the first time in history, the opening ceremonies did not take place inside a stadium but outside (on the Seine or Place de la Concorde). Exceptional shows with the presence of Celine Dion on the Eiffel Towerof Tom Cruise jumping from the roof of the Stade de France or of the singer Aya Nakamura taking up Aznavour on the Pont des Arts.

At the organization of these sublime Games which took place in the capital, one man: Tony Estanguet. The sportsman and Olympic medalist was the president of the organizing committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Thanks to him and his teams, the whole world dreamed of the equestrian events at Versailles, the fencing at the Grand Palais or even the sublime images of the Eiffel Tower stadium. Paris became a party again for a summer. A symbol of strength against violence against women and rape culture, Gisèle Pelicot has become an icon. Aged 21, YouTuber Inoxtag took on the crazy challenge of climb Everest in just one year. The one who made himself known by playing Fortnite, succeeded in his exceptional challenge. In September 2024, Inoxtag published on YouTube a documentary called “Kaizen”, which retraces its journey to the summit. Inoxtag arrives at the top and counts 39 million views so far for this video.
