University of Medical Sciences, Ondo (UNIMED) is a university of medical sciences that is controlled by the Ondo State Government. it was founded in 2015 and is located in Laje Road, Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria. The National Universities Commission has authorized it, making it Nigeria’s first specialized medical university and third in Africa.
The university consists of seven faculties:
Faculty of Nursing Sciences, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation
